Antenna and line installation is one of the fundamental tasks to be executed in a wireless network. WIS employs certified tower personnel and sweep testers to perform these basic functions day in and day out. All personnel are certified and/or trained in connector installation, ground kit, weather proofing, bending, entry port installation, jumper connections, connector torque specs, height verification procedures, azimuth verification procedures, and antenna installation requirements. We have seen many "general contractors" and electricians turn their laborers into climbers over the years and advertising themselves as antenna and line installers. These are the companies you see with manlifts at mountain top sites, improper or no safety equipment, and multiple "subcontractors" on site providing supervision and sweep gear to complete the job. These are the very same sites that WIS is called upon to troubleshoot, repair, or completely re-build in some cases. While as experts this is the most basic wireless installation function, it is also the most often improperly installed and trouble causing scope when attempted by inexperienced companies and crews. Don't pay for manlifts, "third party" sweeping, oversized/inexperienced crews, and troubleshooting/repair costs by using a "GC" to perform this work.
