Whether you need to verify an antenna centerline for your license, audit the antennas on your tower for lease negotiations, or verify if any unsafe Rf levels exist for tower workers on your site and at what locations; WIS has the tools, experience, and staff to assist. We can verify whether your tower paint has faded beyond the accepted tolerance. We can prepare a complete tower audit and analysis for loading criteria based on TIA-222-Rev G standards. We can prepare a load reduction plan or design a structural upgrade in which our in house crews will upgrade your tower so you are complaint. We verify an antenna type or centerline for FCC licensing or we can check to see if there is any type of interference coming into your system. From simple nuts and bolts inspections to complete tower audits and analysis, WIS is your single source for all of your site inspection needs.
WIS uses AutoCAD and Visio programs to prepare as-builts drawings, site layouts, and tower member detail reports. Anything under 300' is verified with a tape drop for 100% accuracy. Frequency and interference studies are done with spectrum analyzers and Rf levels are verified with Rf meters. Documentation reports can be done in your preferred format or we can provide one of our many formats that suits your application.
WIS provides audit, mapping and inspection services on guyed towers, self support towers, stealth structures, building tops, water tanks, and custom structures. Our attention to detail is second to none in this business and our reporting is clear, accurate, and easy to work with. Most clients utilize WIS to perform annual tower inspections under existing contracts or agreements which is done while on site for another project, saving time and money. Most insurance companies require this and those that don't, will start to soon. Not only is it wise to have your site inspected at least annually, but many site owners are unaware of the poor quality of their tenant installations and changing industry requirements, which impact future opportunities, loading, and other tenants. Tower sites are extremely costly to develop and much more difficult to obtain construction permits in your local jurisdiction these days. Your existing site can be extremely valuable as local jurisdictions continue to push new providers to utilize existing sites for collocation, and of course it can be a huge liability if industry standards, insurance requirements, and existing tenant needs are not met. A site inspection, antenna mapping report, and structural analysis is an extremely valuable and cost effective tool that can maximize value and minimize liability on your existing site. WIS can also assist with preparing installation standards, site access requirement guidelines, contractor requirements, and tower access protocol policies for your site. WIS also provides site management and consulting services to a growing number of site owners.
