BREAKING NEWS | Hawaii stations transition to digital with the help of WIS
January 15, 2009- Maui, HI
WIS crews were called in to support the completion of the new shared digital transmission system at Ulupalukua Ranch on the island of Maui. WIS provided rigid and flex line materials, labor and testing for the combiner to transmitter interconnect for 4 stations while completing the main antenna system transmission line installation and testing with Dielectric for the final system proof just prior to the January 15th cutover date. All stations were cutover successfully and operating digitally as planned.
WIS would like to thank all those who provided us with the opportunity and supported the combined effort- KGMB, KHET, KHNL, KWHE, KHON, KITV, Dielectric, and the Maui LLC.
