BREAKING NEWS | WIS completes turnkey ENG system installation and integration for KSWB

WIS was engaged by KSWB to design, install, and integrate a new Central Receive ENG system, including structural analysis of the tower, mount designs for both ENG and fixed link microwave antennas, and complete system installation, testing, and integration. Included in the video back haul microwave is a duplex unlicensed microwave system that was circulated into the path and is being used for complete site control and monitoring. WIS verified clear LOS and ran engineering to ensure fresnel clearance on the fixed link system with consideration given to future tree growth and variances in the 2 distinctly different microwave radio systems.

Palomar Repeater Inc owns and operates this facility which is perched high above North County San Diego. This has been a long time favorite site of broadcasters for ENG receive and is also used for wireless, microwave repeaters, 2 way, and broadcast system transmission. The site provides excellent coverage for North and East San Diego County and there is plenty of room for expansion for new tenants.
