BREAKING NEWS | WIS Completes KTVZ 2 GHz BAS relocation upgrade
October 25, 2009- Bend, OR
NPG Cable company owned KTVZ of Bend, Oregon selected WIS to complete their 2 GHz BAS transition project which included out of band fixed link engineering, coordination, licensing and the installation and integration of their new 13 GHz Moseley digital duplex microwave link, Nucomm central receive equipment and complete upgrade to their live news truck. Like the other 2 GHz projects in which WIS has been engaged, with the help of KTVZ, Moseley and Nucomm, WIS crews made quick work of the scope and completed this project with ease. KTVZ now enjoys reliable digital backhaul and ENG systems for their daily operations.
