BREAKING NEWS | WIS Completes DTV System Installation for KECY at Black Mtn
June 29, 2009- Imperial, CA
WIS was contracted by KECY to install a new RFT DTV antenna system, including new 3 1/8" flex line, pressurization system, rigid, grounding system, ice bridge, and proof the entire system. Before the new antenna could be installed, WIS was tasked with completing a tower audit, analysis, and structural upgrade of the 505' guyed tower. The final scope also called for the existing STL microwave antenna to be relocated and the old analog Jampro antenna had to be de-installed. The system was cut from analog to the TEMP DTV antenna on June 12th and WIS crews started the project the next day. The new system was brought on air after testing on July 2nd, 2009.
