Project Managers
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the execution of projects from conception to delivery including project team management, project resource management, material procurement, budget tracking, scheduling, client relationships, project performance and overall quality, and development of project plans. The Project Manager is responsible for completing projects on time and within budget while achieving 100% customer satisfaction.
The Project Manager must have proven leadership skills, experience in end-to-end construction management, and can work within an environment of constant change and help mitigate and minimize the ensuing impact on project delivery and pricing.
Additionally, the Project Manager must carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, training, evaluating, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Functions
- Assess project opportunities, attend bid walks, review scope and prepare job estimates, proposals, budget, SOW, BOM, and quotes
- Establish and manage project schedules, and communicate quality expectations
- Create and execute project plans, manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and revise as appropriate to meet changing business/client needs and requirements
- Hire and manage subcontractors to perform outsourced scopes of work
- Resolve any issues related to projects (i.e. unexpected change in staffing, delays, inclement weather, accidents, emergencies, schedule conflicts between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, complaints, etc.)
- Oversee project closeout: review and approve closeout reports prepared by PC's, address elevated billing issues
- Prepare and submit monthly statement on project progress and status for profit forecast and project completion
- Train, provide direction, and ensure all tasks assigned to PC and PA are completed timely
- Perform duties and responsibilities of managing all subordinates and field personnel (including but not limited to interviewing, training, evaluating, addressing attendance, performance and other employee issues, and disciplining)
- Nurture client relationships - communicate regularly and effectively with clients to discover opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives
- Attend conventions, tradeshows, appropriate training opportunities, sales/client meetings, and Company events
- Perform all duties and responsibilities detailed in all applicable Company policies, procedures and work flowcharts

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Degree in construction management, planning, business management or a related field OR 5+ years experience in construction management and supervision
- Strong organizational, leadership, problem solving, time management and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, etc.)
Typical Working Conditions
Typical office environment and occasional exposure to heat, cold, chemicals when working work outdoors (i.e., visiting job sites, attending job walks, etc.)
Equipment Used
Computer keyboard, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, standard office supplies (stapler, hole puncher, etc.). Occasional use of ladders.
Essential Physical Tasks
Must occasionally carry tools and boxes of materials and/or supplies weighing no more than 50 pounds.
