Microwave/Broadcast Engineer
Responsible for microwave engineering using Pathloss IV. Requires extensive experience with Part 101 and Part 74, ENG systems, control systems, design of DC power, ancillary hardware, interface equipment, cross connects, and remote control systems.
Essential Functions
- Prepare RFQ responses including engineering/design proposals, rack layouts, system design, and ancillary hardware layouts
- Must be able to create BOM's and specify materials to meet system/client/RFQ requirements
- Assist with overall project management
- Assist with sales
- Create and maintain internal installation and design standards

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience in the frequency ranges from 2-23 GHz
- Experience with television, broadcast, and ENG systems, satellite, camera, controllers, switching, modems, mods / demods, encoder, HD/NTSC, DC power -48V, +24V battery backup / UPS systems, BTS equipment.
- Experience and comfortable working around AC and DC power (110VAC, 220VAC)
- Ability to understand and carry out both verbal and written instruction
- Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision
- Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and various other computer software.
- Attention to detail, problem solving, time management and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills required
- Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in broadcast and microwave engineering
- Bachelor's degree in engineering highly desired
- Must have a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, auto insurance
- Reliable transportation that may be used to commute between jobsites
